An online repertoire to discover projects to create age-friendly environments
Our partners from the thematic network for age-friendly environments (AFE-INNOVNET) have officially launched an online repository that gathers projects promoting good quality of life for elderly people. You can from now on be inspired by other stakeholders (universities, industries, civil society, etc.) and share your accomplishments.

"Civil society must work hand in hand with local government"
CEMR secretary general, Frédéric Vallier, addressed participants of the AGE Platform Europe annual conference, on 4 December 2014. In his speech, he underlined the role of local and regional actors in meeting Europe’s demographic challenge. He also invited representatives from the civil society to work hand in hand with their local and regional governments towards equality across all ages.

The thematic network for age-friendly environments (AFE-INNOVNET) is organising a webinar entitled “EU Funds for Age-friendly Initiatives”. The event will be the chance to address several crucial themes for local and regional authorities and their partners, like the funding opportunities offered by the European Social Fund and Horizon 2020. Future calls for participation will be as well on the agenda.
